With 100 years of experience, Bioindustria L.I.M. currently represents a reference point at national and international level, both for the specialization of its production and for the modernity of its research laboratories and industrial plants.

It carries out the complete cycle of the production of medicinal products by carrying out in its industrial departments the preparation of new synthetic drugs, the extraction of active principles and enzymes, and the transformation of the thus obtained medicaments into finished pharmaceutical forms.

The Research Division’s qualified chemistry, biology and pharmacology team, with the help of the most advanced techniques, ensures Bioindustria’s continuous scientific progress by producing products whose validity enjoys the recognition of the most important scientific fields and of the medical class.

Chemical analysis and microbiological checks are carried out by a team of highly qualified staff using the latest equipment.

At present, Bioindustria’s production is therefore divided into 3 main sectors:
  • small and large volume injectable solutions
  • proprietary medicinal products on behalf of third parties
  • raw materials (APIs) for the pharmaceutical industry (the plant is capable of producing a wide range of APIs and also of developing specialized custom syntheses)
