What is Pharmacovigilance?

Pharmacovigilance is the set of activities that contribute to the protection of public health. They are aimed at identifying, assessing, understanding and preventing adverse effects or any other problem related to the use of medicines, to ensure a favourable benefit/risk ratio for the population.

What is an adverse drug reaction?

It is a harmful and unintended response to a medicinal product.
